Wiring a starter box

I have purchased the new ofna blue buggy box. I would like to put banana plugs on the box so that I don't have to open the box up to charge. this box is not set up for a power panel can I just run two leads from the battery terminals to the female banana plugs to charge the battery or should I get a power panel and cut the side of the box to accept the panel? I am a noob so thanks for the help

If you wire those banana plugs in a parallel circuit to the circuit the motor and switch are in it will be fine. Power panels are nice as you can now use a banana plug glow igniter and run it off the starter boxes battery.

It would probably be best to have the parallel circuit start after the main on off switch, that way nothing can short on whats sticking out on those banana plugs when your not using the box.

That's what I did on mine. Works fine. Just make sure you get your polarity right.
