Servos - Which one for Throttle ???

I ' m building a Factory Team RC10GT . I ' ll probably buy a Futaba 3PJFS . I ' ve been told to use an S9402 servo for steering . What should I use for throttle ?
I was thinking of using a no frills S3003 . Is this a good idea ? Do I need speed for throttle ???
Hopelessly lost ..... Do I need such a good radio . I ' m told that PCM is the way to go .
Thanks in advance .

You could get any radio you want as long as it is FM . FM is more resistant to glitches which is really good for the fibration of gas . I think the JR XR3 is perfect , or for more money the Lynx 3D . For throttle servo , use a Futaba S9303 , its one of the best throttle servos . For steering , i highly recommend the Futaba S9404 .

it doesn ' t really matter what servo u use for throttle . the s3003 will do fine . the thing is that the carb and the brakes aren ' t that hard to pull . if u want to race , with hi - preformance equipment , get a high torq high speed mini ball bearing metal gear servo . high speed w / b - bs would be good for smooth , quick , throttling and braking .
