4 stroke in an RC10GT??

I wonder if it is possible to smash a 4 stroke into the GT???

A few months ago in RC Nitro they did a conversion but it required some custom parts to make it fit. Personally, I'd just stick with a racing .12.

True there is no point. well maybe but i dunno what it is. I want to try ti to see if it is cool and if I dont like it I will have a 4stroke motor i can put in somethen else then.

yes, it's been done as mentioned above. Steve Pond was the one that did it in the July 2001 issue of RC Nitro. It required a custom intake manifold, exhaust manifold and engine mount along with a Kyosho Superten .26 conversion kit, among other things. The result was great, but took a bit of work to do.

What about 4 strokes in 1/8 scale buggies? Has anyone here had any luck with that combo? Not for racing of course, just for around the neighborhood where noise may be more of a concern. Also, the longer run time would be nice!
