2 Batteries?

I would need two batteries to power the Titan set up? I'm looking for speed more than rock crawling ability. I will be using my Dag mostly on pavement, grass and dirt. Not really climbing over anything more than a curb. Would the Titan set up get me more speed? Or should I just get the Super Rooster and some hot motors?
