How do you fix a hung brush?
It finally happened to me! I've never had a hung brush before. It took me forever to find out what it was. I thought I had cold solder joints on the motor tabs, so I redid them...nothing. I thought my ESC was broken, nope, it worked. I checked the brushes and they were still good, put them back in, still no go. I accidentally dropped the motor and it whirred up. So I took it apart and cut the comm. This time it worked! Guess I "fixed" the brushes when I took them out. BUT after a few minutes of run time, the motor cut out again. So I pressed one of the brushes in and the motor worked. Now, how do I fix this properly?? I just soaked the brushes with comm drops, hoping that would lubricate the brush hood so it wouldn't get stuck. Is that the right way to fix it?
