Hydro cowling help
OK I got my 1/12 Bud stripped out and am getting ready to glass in the drivers pod for the U3 Vacationville style but here's the problem. Can I use a balloon to form the drivers pod or do I have to make a wooden form to glass over ? Want to get movin on this so when the Llumar comes in I'll have 3 to show off before the snow starts as the hydros don't run good on ice.

Foam building insulation can be used. It A) works as additional flotation B) is shape and sandable and C) it's lightweight enough to be left in after the glass is on, though it might mean moving the fuel tank to under the deck

No fuel tank as this is the one I'm changing to "Electric Power" sick of playing with the fuel crap. Will have twin mod motor/gear drive(ie.MRP style)Fuller running gear/12 cell/and a good prop. Looking for 35 mph I know dream on !

I said on another post that "When I total my Miss Bud"..... Having gone thru many troubles with my Bud I'm always curious to what others are doing to theirs. I like the older Miss Buds in the sixties I saw on Newton's site also. There is a lot to choose from. Many of the pics on newton's site won't open. What other sites might have larger pics for more ideas? I really like the vintage stuff.

Now Ron, why did you have to go and tease him like that ? Now he'll never be able to decide what he wants

Many times, usually looking for boats for others or checking to see if they have gotten to the mid 1970's yet. No such luck, that is yet
