RFFS Fast Freddie from Fly RC plans
Here's my latest project. Started yesterday afternoon, and finished 2am today. I test flew it this morning. Roll rate was slow until I added some aerodynamic balance tabs to the ailerons

Hi Fwilly,
That's a real cute one. Could you share a bit more detail, such as size, weight, power, wing airfoil, etc. I assume the battey is a Li-Poly, what is the prop and drive? Questions, questions.
Regards, Dave

sure.
WS is ~12", weight is 7/8oz(24g), Power is from a M20 geared 4.2:1 with a 12cm prop or a GWS 5x3, Airfoil is straight off of the plans in Fly RC mag. It is fully symetrical, but thats about all I know about it. Your supposed to scale the plans up to 200% and use an ips and pico gear, but I just used them straight from the mag.
I got to fly it in a small gym this evening. It looped, rolled and did inverted circuits without struggling at all.

I think its the Feb issue, Sorry my camera doesn't doo close up pics real well. I'll try to edit the existing pic to make the aileron linkages more clear.

I think I made it worse
The linkages are highlighted in black. The control horns are highlighted in green. The areodynamic balance tabs are highlighted in yellow the posts that extend the aerodynamic balance tabs past and above the hing line are highlighted in orange, but they are mostly blocked out by the tabs
