a simple question about bats/motors and run times...
in a touring car that is NOT being used for racing (just driven hard around some corner markers in parking lots) i've got:
2 -- GP3300 6 cell sticks
2 -- Sanyo 6 cell sticks
Motor 1 -- 18,000 RPM/250 g-cm torque
Motor 2 -- 18,000 RPM/350 g-cm
normally....with either stick and motor 1 i'd get no less than 45 minutes of runtime.
but simply changing to motor 2, and using the same packs, the run time dropped to about 25 minutes max.
these two motors were run on the same area and driven in similar fashion. is a few g-cm of torque enough to cause that big of a drop in run time?
