I live here, Texas that is but I don't race in any sanctioned races. There are a few tracks in Houston and San Antonio. Also my LHS has a dirt oval.

Check the Track Directory in the back of the 2001 buyers guide or normal issue of RCCA for more information. That is how I found the one and only hobby shop here in Abilene.
Hope this helps,

Its an old topic but I post anyway.

Dark, the off-road track in BS is no more. It was on city owned property and the told the club to move out so they could turn it into a volleyball court. Which is a bad move because where it is located it will just be destroyed. The RC Club took pretty good care of it.

B&B as far as I know still has an on-road track. I think their on 4th street, something like that.

Well hope this helps, better late than never.

I'm living in the Dallas metroplex (Mesquite). Lots of hobby shops and lots of tracks. Last Friday My father-in-law and I went to watch the dirt oval races at Wild Bill's in Irving. Indy R/C in Garland has an inside off-road and an outside paved track. There is a good off-road track at Mike's Hobby Shop in Carrolton.

I go to the track at Mike's 'cause it's indoors and it's free to practice. Also they have a killer line of parts and hop-ups.
BTW, if anyone wants to practice with me there on a Monday or Tuesday, drop me a line at sdricoll@peoplepc.com
