Can anyone here tell me,that when you pre order a rc car for x amount of money months ago and then when it is available the price goes up.Are you locked in on the first price or do they charge you the new price ?

I'm pretty sure they would honour the price that u bought it at even if they havn't sent it to u

I'm sure it's dependant on the individual business that you're dealing with. I've been happy with Tower Hobbies. The once or twice that I've pre-ordered something they honored the original lower pre-order price. On one occasion the pre-order price was higher than the release price and I was contacted by one of thier sales people who recommended that I cancel and re-order at the lower price. I may have just gotten lucky on that last one though!

Got my baja 5B today and the hobbie store did bill me for the price it was back in march.Great deal hundreds less then most today.

If you pre paid on the pre order or put a deposit on it they have to honor the pre order price.
