Building a track in Central NJ
There aren't any off road tracks in Central NJ, so I'm building one. We've started a club, BARCC, the Brunswick Area Radio Controlled Club. The track will be located off of exit 9 of the NJ turnpike. We're looking to attract enough interested people in order to be able to get a rc scoring system, AmbRc. If you're interested please let me know. Pictures and updates will be coming in the following weeks. Please check back often to see our progress. Any help would also be greatly appreciated, thanks.

you guys have got a pretty good turnout....I'm not sure who this is and if you've been down to check out BARCC, but we'd love to have you guys from Hillside come down. PM or email marshon50@hotmail.com for info and directions. Will be out racing Saturday and Sunday, 7/15 and 7/16

I live in East Brunswick. I just bought my first nitro, a Jato 2.5R. That track sounds nice, where will it be located?

Checkerboard Raceway
Elm St.
Elwood, NJ
Checkerboard is about 20miles west of AC, then 2 blocks north of 30 on Elm.
Doesn't seem to work to well on MapQuest. Try Weymouth Rd. Elwood, NJ. That will get you within 2 blocks, and you should see Elm on the map. Or you can use this
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...11469&t=h&om=1
You can see the track in the top center of the picture.
We have three scheduled race days left, and could go more....weather permiting. (most guys have already gone indoor for the winter.)
The Turkey race is ALWAYS a GrEAt TiMe!!! You gotta come to that.
Rain has been a big factor this year, and really cut down the racing.
Trax70 seems to be doing well too, I stopped up there this past weekend. Its a bIg place, friendly people, but I don't know what the schedule is.
I don't look down here myself to often...LOL You will find more info about CB HERE
http://forums.radiocontrolzone.com/s...d.php?t=214305
And here
http://forums.radiocontrolzone.com/s...d.php?t=227230
One more thing...personal transponders are recommended and are available trackside
