.....exactly......... the "don't try" was referred to the mamba "modding"....... (the heatsink is disappeared...... )

Good warning then. Last I heard Mambas tend to get a little warm.

I see... I saw the three Mamba caps... never noticed the sinks gone. Interesting.

So what's the motor?

.............as a matter of fact, (generally) smd mosfets keep themselves cooler with "active cooling" (fan) than with only "passive cooling" (heatsink).....

....it's the Quark AP 4T - 5000kv motor - ; it's powerful enough to push my TA05 really fast with final ratio of 6.3:1 (101/36 spur/pinion 64 pitch)

.........exactly.............. with a 25x25 muchmore fan, supplied directly from the battery pack: it REALLY blows air.......

also, I've changed the three phase cable and power cable with 12awg wires...

the "fan-on-mosfets" technique gave me good results also when I used the mamba-25 with the feigao 380-C 8T in my Ta05........people got astonished when realized I was driving a so fast touring car by using only a 1/18 esc..... (even in summer with 45-50 celsius of asphalt temperature...... )
