Apposed to a servo with 100-120 oz. Does it even matter. Am I better off with a mild servo since traction is limited anyway in a 1/10 stadium truck. Is throttle control more predictable with a slower servos? Excuse my ignorance I am new to R/C and I ask these question because I cant drive my truck with the new servos installed, I need spacer for the servos and different horns for the linkages. I am also waiting for my React radio to be repaired.
Thanks.

Ummm, I did have a HUGE improvement in turn-in speed with my Electric Evader when I dropped a futaba S3305 servo in it (metal gears and twicec the torque)
It might make the throttle response snappier, but I don't think it'd be uncontrollable.
I think!

on ANY gas car/truck the speedier the throttle the better!it makes them "feel" more like an electric one, with better throttle response ,no rubber band type effect.a faster servo will make it feel like a whole different car.
case in point:i was driving a buddies revothat had just about EVERYTHING upgraded, but it had a horrible lag on the bottom, which made it hard to time jumps,or even make them,it made it hard to pass, hard to get myself out of trouble, etc.i kept asking questions like what gear ratio is the engine up to temp,is the clutch good,is it stuck in second or what?!then he told me what throttle servo he had, which explained it all.once you go fast ,you wont go back,or at least wont want too!

Yes going to start racing. Just getting the things together to be competitive. I know I have a lot to learn to race but thats me, I love competing. I didnt go to R/C, R/C came to me literally. My girls father buys and sells real estate and one property he purchased was owned by a contractor that go a divorce, got hook on meth and lost it all. When we went to kick the guy out with the sheriff's he fliped out jumped on his motorcycle and split. We waited the 21 days or however long it was and I went through his garage and found a rc10 gt slightly taken apart, probably in a meth, tweeked out high but otherwise new. Started reading everything I could get my hands on related to R/C, nitro tuning, going on forums like this one and asking questions etc. Put the thing together with a little better love and here I am.

Since you got such a good deal on the truck and you wanna race I say why not.
Another question is can that much force pull the carb apart.

Thats right the arm that controls the carb is plastic. If the end points are set I should still be OK. The only reson why I ask is because maybe someone here already tried it and I would like to know the result.

It is twice as fast as the stock one. And while I've never raced I'll guess that it may help when going from ful brake you full throttle

Get your endpoints set right and use it.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TOO FAST A SERVO OR TOO MUCH TORQUE!!!
There is, however, a such thing as too much torque combined with too much EPA. That sucks a bunch.
Also, TV dinners are really good if you're very hungry.

With a stadium truck, I wouldnt go over 130-140 oz/in. The Airtronics 94357z is perfect for steering. Its insanely fast (.07 second transit time) also. Though the 358 is still great, but alot of that torque is wasted, and the faster transit time of the 357 is great for racing. 2wd stadium truck is the hardest nitro offroad class to drive btw, so the faster the steering, the faster you can react to it wanting to spin out.
