Newbie with Lipo ad Lipo charger with questions

Ok, I finally got a Lipo battery(Teamorion 3600 2C) and a Lipo Charger(Onyx 230). My question is do I charge it at 3.6A? I put in 3600 and it automatically selected 3.6A. And it said it would take 120 minutes, is that correct? Thought it would be quicker?

Also, the box the battery that it comes in and instructions inside, even the website says that balancing isnt required due to the Kokam designed cells. I thought all Lipos need to be balanced?
I didn't get a balancer cause the LHS didn't have any but did order a Team Checkpoint balancer.

Now this battery is going in my Slash and I know that the ESC doesnt have LVC but if I keep an eye on the battery and unplug it when there's a hint of slow down, I should be ok?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

On the LVC, you might be able to get a product typically used for planes\heli's like this http://www.espritmodel.com/index.asp...OD&ProdID=4383

Just 1 example, but better than trying to judge when that expensive battery is getting too low for voltage.

The Onyx settings seem correct and it should finish well before 2 hrs. In fact it will be over 90% in an hr.

Battery itself will need checked to see if it needs balanced , kinda like asking do tires need air. (Have to check them and see)

The battery can be hurt long before a slow-down is noticed , timing the run is far better.
