Novak SS in Mini t possible (with smaller motor)?

I have the original Novak SS 5800 combo, a 540 system. I would like to connect a brushless motor that will fit in my mini t to this ESC. however I hear that maybe I wouldn't be able to since there is a sensor cable that may not be compatible. Can someone point me in the right direction? I really want to salvage this esc and use it with a smaller brushless motor. Thanks!

It should run the Novak Mongoose motors just right, but they are 26mm diameter motors so I am not certain they will fit the Mini-T. I dont know of any other sensored small motors, and you must have one for that ESC.

Our 380 motor is sensored, so the sensor plug from this motor will plug directly into your esc. All of our sensor harness are built the same.
