Team Novak announces an all-new voltage cut-off module for use with 2, 3 and 4-cell LiPo battery packs. The Smart-Stop™ Auto-Detect Voltage Cut-Off Module 2S-4S (#5476) automatically detects the number of LiPo cells and adjusts to the correct safety voltage -- preventing damage to the battery pack and protecting your investment. This module is recommended for use with brushed or brushless ESCs, including Traxxas® ESCs, that do not include voltage cut-off circuitry.

The Smart-Stop Auto-Detect Module is easy to install, and connects between the receiver and speed control. It uses a combination of throttle interruption and a visual cue from a remotely-mountable, ultra-bright blue LED. If the vehicle is run beyond the warning period, the module will bring the motor to a stop, while leaving full steering control. The Smart-Stop Auto-Detect Module 2S-4S also features an automatic set-up that requires no additional input, and a replaceable LED harness and receiver harness.

The new Smart-Stop Auto-Detect Voltage Cut-Off Module will be available in July 2011.
