Traxxas Funny Car

So lets chat about the new funny car that Traxxas is putting out. I cannot wait to get my hands on one someday. I got a cm36 9000kv motor that just might live in a dragster. Going to have to try it out one day. I like the features that the controller comes with for staging and also the burn-out feature. I also want the John Force model and a Courtney Force models. Cannot wait until there is a Top Fuel model someday.

I will get one and convert it to gas. Why you ask? Because I can.
But really it's a cool looking car, can't wait to get one.

Hats off to Traxxas. Some uber-cool stuff coming out lately. The timing system alone is just killer. Love the funny car design as well - definitely impressed overall.

No offense to anybody that likes their stuff, but I honestly think that they are just coming out with pointless stuff. I think somebody in their R&D department is just coming up with "what-if" ideas and then making them. The X01 wasn't a big hit, from what I heard and saw, and this is going to be another one of their duds. Most people out there don't want to go in a straight line the entire time. I know the thing can turn, but seriously, driving a funny car around just looks ridiculous. Come out with something groundbreaking again, like they did with the T-Maxx.

Actualy there are alot of areas in the US that race r/c drag cars... the X01 was IMO a ego builder.... just to prove they can build a fast car..... I might be wrong but i dout it... the Funny Car will do well.... not to the amount of a slash or a T-maxx but it will do well.... everyone forgets that there was no Monster truck market or short course market when they made those kits..but look at it now....

We have had several show up and do well with us at the r/c drag races in Rockingham... Mike Smith of Lochman is making foam rear tires for them now.... makes them alot faster...
