I am no expert...but was involved in RC Cars in the late 80s/early 90s until I became old enough to get into real cars.
The front tires/rims are from a Tamiya Grasshopper I believe. The chassis looks home made to me. The pinion and rear axle area looks to be out of a street car, probably from that era but I didn't dabble in street enough back then to know. RC10L or RC12L maybe? Bolink I think had some street cars back then. That looks like a low end rear diff due to it not 'appearing' to be a ball differential like the better cars had.
I know almost nothing about cars today...so take what I"m saying with a grain of salt.
