SH Engines 18 Nitro Engine

I bought a SH 18 Engine from a www.rcecho.com and put on the tmaxx. I have it broken in and run it at around 230-245 with lots of power. But if I barely bump the HSN it comes alive but the temps are around 250-260 maybe 265 on a warm day. When it is set that way it flips backwards at ease and thats what I want, it even keeps up with the neighbors Revo 3.3 for short races. Is the 250-260 range ok? I run powermaster 30% as I do in my Jato. My Jato runs great at 260-275 but I know traxxas motors run a little hotter. I know I should just tune for power and ignore temps but want a guideline I guess. I would think the 250-260 is fine just want a few opinions. All I do is bash around the yard and road with the maxx. This motor isn't expensive but I dont want to burn it up in a few gallons. I have a hole cut in the windshield and the rear of the truck for air flow. I get these temps when in the yard but it is usually a little cooler after a good run on the road. Also I know a lot will say pay attention to the smoke trail but this powermaster fuel seems to smoke less than most. Plus I have always liked powermaster in planes and a gallon of 30% car blend is only 28.99 and my Jato and the SH 18 loves it. Thanks for any help.

That would be scary temp for me,not sure,it maybe normal for those
engines, ive herd people say that those temps are the norm about
230 t0 260.
I would just make sure its not boiling or making a gurgling sound...
