HPI Sprint Sport RTR

Anyone have experience with the Sprint 2 Sport RTR? I am looking to get into the on road racing and am looking for a good starter package. A TA05 kit was recomended but by the time I added a 2.4GHZ transmiter and everthing else needed it put me in the 4-500 dollar range. The Sprint 2 Sport RTR is $239 out the door. Any help would be great.

it's a fine car to start with - plenty of hop ups available if you decide later you want to start upgrading.

Hey CCS, did you ever pick that hpi sprint 2 sport. If so how do you like it.

Ive been out of the hobby for years but I decided to go to the LHS and check it out. I didnt know they had a touring car race that day, but I ended up buying a Sprint 2 flux and raced it. I whooped butt 1st qualifier, dnf 2nd, and dnf the main due to drained batts I borrowed.
