128 mph...
Tony Rudis of New Jersey set the first part of a new WORLD MPH record in r/c drag racing...... 132ft in 128 mph..... he has two quailifing attempts Saturday and the elems Sunday to back it up within 1% at Rockingham Dragway in NC at the IMDRA Eastern Nats to get the record.....

The previous MPH record was 119 mph.. Tony was unable to get within the 1% required to make the 128 mph a new record.. closest he got was 2.5%... how ever he did with great ease reset the MPH record at 121 mph......

Last year Tonys car did get and still holds the ET record of 1.12 seconds... he had a relief driver for that run..but it was his tune up....
