Step by Step: Ford "hess" truck

Painted this Parma Ford pickup body today. Here's a quick step by step on how I did it.

Airbrush: Master g22

I used my plotter to make the flame,Hess and ford logos and applied them to the body.

first I used these paints to paint it:

I taped off the the truck where I didnt want to paint it black.:

after giving the bed a few coats of black and after letting it dry it was time to paint the ford logo....first i removed the parts of the mask where the blue goes

after a few coats of blue, i removed the rest of the paint mask and finished it off in white:

To be on the safe side after i backed the logo in white I taped it off just incase, next i moved all the tape and masks where I wanted to paint it green

after a few coats of green, i removed the flame paint mask:

That looks great! Amazes me the amount of patience that goes into custom cutting those decals and throwing on multiple colors of paint. I don't know how you guys do it.

(I'm a 1-2 color rattle can kinda guy)

thanks,lol....I am far from a good painter.....I have about 3 hrs in prep work, and about 5 hrs in paint. its can be very teadious sometimes, lol

I should have made the hess logos a little bigger, they look a little cramped to me and I should have brought the flames back more towards the windsheild but over all i am happy with it.
