Hey guys... just wanted to let everyone know about the Carolina Model Drag Series or CMDS. We race once a month at Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham NC. We have an event this saturday. All r/c cars and trucks are welcome not just r/c drag cars.... We have the basic drag classes.. from bracket to TF... and a OUTLAW Street class.. that is any type of on-raod car....

What a great day... we had 20 racers show for the day... 14 in bracket... and 4 in Electric TF... 2 test-n-tuners.. Sold two kits to NEW racers coing in soon.... We had our first Traxxas John force FC make its debut.. (3.09 with a two cell lipo in it....more later) We had a very new young racer all of the age of 6 years old who made a grown man cry... she whooped him on the tree...lol way to go Azandra....lol

The guys from the UNC-TV show NC Weekend had a blast.. or so it seemed.. the show will air before the IMDRA Nats and the Nats will have a mention when airing..(more on this later also)..... We had 23 spectators come out and hang out for a few hours.. which considering we were the only thing happening at the drag strip was awesome... of them 6 got information from racers about the cars and what they needed to come racing..... Thank you to all our racers who are so accomindating to the people showing interest......

In bracket.. Joey padget took the TQ spot all the way to the finials against Larry Lenton.... and the times were like this...

ETF Had Steve Saik at TQ with a time of 1.29 @ 107 mph... Steve lost in first round on a hole shot... which put Jessie Brigman and Douglas Hawkins in the finial..(cant find the times at this moment but The Hawk struck and took the win...)


Interesting side note.. last pass of the day with a practice run was Steve Saik with a 1.2701 @ 106.37... Bryant Ruff also made a pass of 1.35 @ 103... the whole time sheading foam off the tires like it had the plague...lol Keeps tires on that thing and it might get fast ....

June 7th thru the 10th we host the IMDRA Eastern Nats... 90 plus racers from Cali to New York.. from Chicago to Daytona will be headed to the ROCK....... if you get a chance come on out and watch THE FASEST r/c cars racing today........
