Traxxas Slash quick release body mounts

Has anybody ever seen/made a way to quick release the body instead of using the tedious washer/clips? I was thinking of maybe using bolt and a wingnut. Any thoughts/ideas? Does something like this already exist?

I usually either don't bother with the washers, or use a little bit of shoe-goo to glue them in place.

The clips are about as quick-release as it gets. Seems like anything else would be more tedious? I did see some sort of push/twist thing a while back but it looked a little on the fragile side.

I use velcro to keep the body on, easy on and off and it is quick.

Velcro? I would think the body would fly off the first time you roll it.

Nope, velcro is pretty tough. I Haven't had any problems with it coming off when I roll my RC.

Never tried velcro on an SC body, but a 2wd buggy body will stay on with only velcro through a tornado I'm pretty sure.

I do agree . velcro works great.. with the nerf bars on side and shock towers..I have 3 bodies setup with velcro.. strickly show bodies..also have a basher with velcro on a slash LCG.. have never had a issue even with bad body grabbing marshalls..
