upgrading from electric to gas

ok im new at this forum sh*t but i run electric cars and ive had alot of people recomend i upgraded to gas and im it street racers r2r (ready to run) that can take a beating yet still give me high proformance on the track ive got $500 to spend any recomendations?

If you still got your Transmitter and reciever, I say go for HPI Racer 2 with a good engine. If you don't have your radio, go with the Yokomo GT-4 RTR.

thanx for exsepting me geerhed ........ ok i have my transmitter and reciever but i wasnt sure the were compatable but i guess they are?
ok cool well ill look at thi info on you recomended models and get back to ya thanx for the help

i have the hpi car. great car except belt driven. go with shaft-drive. no belts to rip up. there are alot of parts out there for the hpi car. do a little reading before you jump in. everyone says that shaft is better/faster then belts. ( im not sure as i run belts) i also came over from electric. still have all my electric cars. still run them at the local track but theres nothing like nitro man. i should have jumped in years ago. good luck on your purchase. once you get it, we can talk you through on how to break in the motor. (unless you already know, your set!!)

hpi's r cool and all, but they are expensive to hop-up! (at least RTR are!)
