My supplier sent me a sample and a Minor tweak needs to be fixed.

Should have it soon.

So awesome that this thread is still alive. Luckily I purchased a spare counter gear incase mine broke but i dont' even run this anymore since it's becoming vintage. I am kinda dissappointed how my orginal post pic dissappeared . I'm thinking about a OS .30 and curious if a shaft starter would work on this truck?

I had the VG 30 on it.

It wheelies like crazy. But since this truck only have one speed, all it gets is too much torque and no speed. If you are going to put a VG 30 in. Don't get the M2000 manifold, it will touch the rear dampers.

I'm new to this forum. I own a USA1 Nitro Crusher but the last time it's seen any action was probably back in 1996. I've ground down my Counter Gear and Spur Gear, probably due to incorrect setting of the gear angle. Other than that, the truck chasis and drive train is in pretty good nick so I'm thinking of building it up again if possible, but have no luck in finding the parts.

I'd be interested in the Counter gear if it can be made to fit.

Cheers.

It is able to get it made. But I don't have enough people to commit to the quantity. Currently there is less than 10 people and i need at least 20 to cover my cost.

i was also thinking about eliminanting the counter gear, putting the engine against the main center gear, relocating the fuel tank&putting a 2nd engine on the other side of the center gear.

Wheels & Tires

I have a new USA-1 Nitro on the way, minus the wheels and tires. I have been trying to research some other current models to see if there are any modern wheel/tire combinations that will work, but I can't seem to find the right details. The ones I have found are really cool/aluminum, but they cost a fortune. The truck is a new build, but I'm planning on running the thing, so I need some durable wheels/tires that I can run in the street & dirt.

Wheel Nuts/Wrench

Hi All,
Please forgive the noobish questions...after years of pining away for one of these, I have been blessed with 2 new USA-1s, one nearly complete and he other 100%. One will be for the shelf, while the other will be run into the ground...

The incomplete kit I have is missing the tires, wheels, and some wheel hardware (o-ring, wheel nuts, etc.). My question is about the wheel nuts - they seem to be a size I don't have a wrench for, which is odd since my R/C collection is exclusively Kyosho. Neither kit came with a special tool of any kind (actually glad Kyosho stopped doing that), but I was wondering if anyone could give me the exact size wrench I need to use on these nuts.

Lots of pics and hopefully some in-action videos soon.

Thanks!
