Electrix stadium mod'able?

Hi, want to pick up this hobby now, and i want to do it properly. So before i buy anything, i want to know that i buy a car that can be modified. The "Electrix stadium truck" seems to be a good car in my price range, which is 150-200$.

I've looked at a couple of cars, and motor names like 370, 540 and 550 seems to pop up, does these numbers refer to the motors size? In the Electrix stadium's description it just says "dynamite 20t". Does this car use some kind of standard motor-size, or am i stuck with the "dynamite 15t" or "dynamite 20t"?

And then there's other handling-mods like gear ratio, ride height, shock stiffness. Can these things be altered on this car?

I think that the 20t is a 540 (which is a standard size) and can easily put a different pinion gear on it. You should be able to upgrade to brushless. It has oil-filled shocks, so you can use other shock oils. I don't have one, but the monster truck is on my radar.

It looks like a nice, inexpensive starting point. Good luck!

I'd be cautious of putting brushless in there, I highly doubt its ready for brushless, but yes, you should be able to easily upgrade everything on the truck, suspension/motor/electronics wise

ECX offers a metal gear set that they allows the use of brushless systems. How good it is, is anyones guess.
