"Are We There Yet"
This one goes way back. Kind of like Mr. Peabody's Way Back Machine.
I have forgotten what it took at the Dallas Nationals in '04 but Amy Boylan from Mattel wanted it and 2 or 3 other pieces, but I wouldn't part with it.

The only picture taken of it. First time I had discovered and used Tamiya Modeling Tape.



Casting is the Ooze Coupe.
Primered, 2 coats of Shimrin White, 2 coats of SnowWhite Pearl, Candy Pagan Gold, Intercoat Cleared and taped for the Candy Organic Green.
Then the whole thing was shot with a thinned down Candy Pagan Gold to blend the colors together.
Lots of Aztec Gold Pearl-Ex Powder, Decaled detailed and Cleared with Urethane Enamel.
Interior covered with Bare Metal Foil and then shot with Candy Oriental Blue along with grill.
2 sets of Black Box '57 Caddy ElDorado wheels.

Trailer consists of half an Ooze Coupe and about 3/4" of shaped Quik Steel.
Matching paint.
Hitch from the earring dept. of Hobby Lobby.
Came out looking a little like a fancy cell phone.

Gone now it was sold at my first California Convention and paid for my roundtrip airfare.
