which is a faster RTR car

The Associated TC3 or the HPI super RS4 and also if you could please just give your thoughts on either car. I am looking for a good rtr car to get into nitro racing. I have been into Electronic for quite a while now and want something new.

Thanks
Synergy

The nitro tc3 will be an all around faster car (handling and straightaway).
The super nitro is a bigger car also, so it may not even be race legal in your area.
also consider parts support. is the Nitro tc3 or the super nitro going to have more parts support in your area?
My opinion would be to go with the nitro tc3. it's an all around better car.

I'm trying to make same chose the TC3 or the RS4 Nitro. The TC3(RTR) has one draw back it has a Single speed tranny. You have to upgrade to a two speed tranny, the carzy thing is the Kit has a two speed(GO FIGUER). Anyway The TC3 is a good car(I THING MY MIND IS MADE UP)

exactly, That is one thing I dislike because I dont want to go through the hassle of setting up a two speed tranny. But I think im going to get the rtr and the 2 speed as well. This way I Can get used to the car on the one speed and then throw the 2 speed in once im comfortable

my thoughts

the NTC3 kit also cost ALOT more than the RTR

figure $300 - $50(radio) and - $100(engine)

that makes the chassis $150, alittle more than $100 less than the kit

but IMO the RTR and kit version are very good

What's the Klotz Gas RC Modelube 12 oz.? I'd skip it and get some Loctite, also I'd make sure to get a rechargeable glow starter (I'm not sure if yours is) they're a lot nicer and cheaper in the long run. C cell batteries only lasted about two starts in my old glow starter, my reachargeable lasts up to a month on a charger.

Well super class as fun as it is, is not an offically sanctioned class so it's not widely ran like 1/10th TC. Oh and it's TGX and TGR in super class from Tamiya. The TG10 is a standard 1/10th scale. FYI

Synergy,

Comparing which cars to get I feel you should never compare speeds within the same class. Simply if you put 2 cars of the same class with the same gearing and engine they are going to be the same speed. Since you will be changing the RTR engine out later for a race engine that makes the engine it comes with a moot point. Instead shop based on which cars handle the best, have the best features, and have the best parts support in your area.
