Same here. I think the PTI truck will be much more capable than the Mini Monster.

looks pretty cool
Ya know that thing looks pretty cool. I'm a nitro fanatic and addict. However if I could make a go of a mini electric it would be kinda fun to have something to run during winter months and what have you. Later

PTI???
Why no link to check out the PTI truck? I'll get it along with the Mini-T and Mini-Z Monster if it's worth buying.

Here is a couple pics of my 1/24th scale Rock Crawler I designed and built this spring. It has full time 4 wheel drive and uses micro radio gear. Hopefully a kit version will be available soon. The revised prototype has been sent to an RC business that wants to manufacture and market it.

Thanks guys. That body came from the Tamiya model kit. It'll be at least a couple months before we know anything about the final edition even If it can happen.

If you have a fast link then check out this video from a site in Switzerland.
Amazing little beasties, great easy wheelies, you'll want one after you've watched it.

I would pass on any off-road mini-z. My friend picked a nicely hopped up Overland, alu knuckles, x-speed motor, many many NiMH batts, spare rims and tires, and the bugger was terribly slow even for a track in the house. He made a track in his bed room and it was funny. When he went to take off rims the inside would crack to peices. He ran it on carpet too. He was warning me not turn to hard to cause it to roll because I could break something even on the carpet. It was a joke!! This seems to be the same thing but with larger tires and a rasied body. I was thinking of getting some little tikes into the hobby by reccomending this but I changed my mind even about that. Poorly put togather car. The plastics used in the making of parts is terrible making the durability low.

Common
I am sick of this solid axle crap . We need an independant suspension truck. oh, I know! Traxxas needs to get in on this and make a mini-E-maxx! Sweeeet . I,m going to e-mail em. This is a good start though. So far I would stick with the mini-T. I'll keep ya posted on what traxxas says.
