Nope not yet Ive been too busy with school and such. (Plus I used all my earned money to buy the tgs). So chances are you'll probably get the car before i even have fuel! I Also want to put a little drivetrain modification before I drive it. I've heard it drives like the tt 01 though and from what i've heard in the tt 01 forum, its a great handling car.

On the plus side I installed a set of tamiya ball bearings into the car. When you add bearings into you car check out the tamiya ones as they are some of the best ive ever seen.

Tamiya's releasing these new hop - ops for the tt 01 suspension arms. Since the tgs uses the same arms it should work.

Item 53694 ---------------------------------TT-01 Front Stabilizer Set
Item 53695 ---------------------------------TT-01 Rear Stabilizer Set

Imagine with this, an upper arms set on all four sides (just the tops - you need four sets to do that and a steering knuckle and camber link for the rear) you could have a great handling car.

Here's a picture of tamiya's trf shocks. Imagine how much these will improve the dampening over the friction shocks!

Heres a picture of the rear arm modification i was talk about using the front arm parts. This way you can adjust rear toe in as well. I hope to do this kind of conversion with 4 upper arm sets later.

Thanks for the info, yeah man those shocks are very nice man. Oh yeah man i was lookin through a magazine (RC Car). Anyways they make superchargers for nitro engines. Man that is so tight. I sent them a request for one for a XBG. They say they can build superchargers for all cars. The web site is www.rbinnovations.com
Oh yeah how do u paste pictures man.

To past a picture you basically just save the pic as a jpeg in my documents and then use the browse function from manage file attachments and upload the picture. Oh about the RB innovation superchargers there have been many debates over radio control zone on weather they work or not. Most people who have bought them sya that it leans the engine too much and fries it. However i actually haven't used it so I'm not sure over the overall effectiveness of it. Check around the forums about people's views of the product you'll end up saving a lot of money!

no not yet i was supposed to go to the hobby shop today but it was closed. I'm gonna be ordering ntc3 parts from tower today or tomorrow so i'll start working on the 2 speed conversion.. I'll probably get the car running by may hopefully.

Heres part of an exploded view of the chassis. If you look at the drive train it looks very similar to a tt 01. Therefore, you should be able to easily add a tt 01 aluminum drive shaft or ntc3 drive shaft as the plastic one tends to flex more.

I just finished installing the ntc3 two speed input shaft and the center bulkhead. Unfortunately, it seems that the shaft is not level, I'll probably have to sand the bulkhead down a bit.

After some sanding i finally got the shaft level. Now all I need is to get a ntc3 two spped assembly and attach it on.

Well to convert to two speed you need a ntc3 cneter bulkhead and a two speed assembly. You also have to cut the chassis a bit ans sand down the bulkhead. I don't actually have the ntc3 speed yet, but I will get it in a couple of months

2 speed:

I haven't finished the whole conversion yet ( my wallet wont let me lol) but I'll pass on more info and directions later.

I think they have given me a lemon, it just started to be less and less responsive, then stalled.

Now when we try to start it - its making this clicking sound. /my friends suggested it might be a bent or broken conrod. Its compressing fine.

anyone have any suggestions?

Also, between toe body and the head of the moto, is there supposed to be a gap, of shiney metal about half a mm thick?

*******, im so pissed!

buy koyosho next time

Hmm..... Maybe the engine is being run too lean? This might be a stupid question but did you break in the engine?
