This thing is a work of ART!!! I cant believe its scratch built...Its truly a shame to have to mount a lexan body on it...it looks so AWESOME without it.

You should have an "AMERICAN RC" show on Discovery Channel ... or at least a single episode...who knows...it might spurn a series like "American Chopper"

Hope to see ya on Discovery!!!

Mucho luck!

As always, thanks for the all-too-kind words guys!

BCSavage: Thanks man! While I definatly appriciate the offer, I'm slowly (as in REALLY slowly...) putting together a discription of sorts on my website. And compared to my web-updates, this build is going lightning fast, I tell ya

LoboNYC: Thank you! Hehe...well, if you wanna compare me with any of those guys, I think I'd be more of a "Mikey"

As for progress, I must have angered the mighty RC gods - I finally get some time to work on the car, and the first thing I do is break my last remaining end mill......

It's the zip tie god. You must please him by sacrificing 10 randomly selected zipties from your stock by simply inserting them into themselves, then pulling them tight and thus rendering them useless.
Then thou shalt be forgiven.

Yup, Thorbob is a one man show(I think), doing all the r&d himself. Not an easy task. Patience will reward us with a handcrafted rc truck not to be duplicated by anyone here.
Hats off. Go Thorbob!
