french project

hi

i start a new project with a NEU motor (1506/1D) , mamba MAx , and just 6 cells in a corraly C10X ...

speed target : 100mph

Sounds like a fun project. I think 6 cells wont be enough. Maybe a 3s2p lipo pack. This way youll get 11.1 volts, and double the amps.

how about a 2s 4000mAh 20+C lipo (so it can handle the high current draw of the high kv motor ?)

I think he'll need a higher capacity battery with a 20C or 30C rate. That motor is ridiculous (I think on the Neu site, it's maximal rating is something like 300 or 400 amps; whether that's the max the motor can take, or if that's the max the motor can draw, I dunno).

Regardless, good luck with your project! It's going to be one nasty little speed demon, that is for sure.
