Cummon guys, someone has to know what this is. I know what the arm is, I just need to know what they acutal motor casing is. This thing is AWESOME. It is a CNC cut top and bottom from a billett piece of aluminum. It had to cost some serious cheese back in the day.
Put on your thinking caps guys.

I don't know that that is the case. I once heard that Kyosho had something like this.
Also, if it's custom, how does someone put a price tag on it???

Basically, it is just the can that is so spectacular. I am able to put in any arm that I want. I have run D4 arms mostly in it. I am not sure what is in there now. I think an 11 triple. This motor is AWESOME. I can't believe he couldn't sell enough of these to continue building them.

If yer interested in selling it, email me at edgood@planet3d.net.....
They go for $20-35....I collect them. I have about 15 of them now, including two brand new in the package.
Big Jim had some personal issues back then that killed his motor company......it wasn't the quality of the motors.
Later EddieO

Eddie. That is great to know. That is the fact that the quality of these engines was there. Also that it is only worth 20-35 bucks. For that amount of money, I will just have to keep my hads on it for a while. It is a great conversation piece for all that see it.
BTW, would you sell any of yours for that amount? I would like to get another one, don't need the arm.
Thanks

Kartman, I have a bunch of Team Checkpoint motors that I originally bought as a kid and I have never seen one with an endbell like that. That is definitely something custom. Do you have or can you post some better pics of the endbell? Thanks.

Old Fantom mod motors used to look something like that... it's been ages so my memory is a bit fuzzy on the endbell part, but the can itself was very similar if not identical. Great motors, they used to be a hot commodity in drag racing circles fwiw.
