That's a function of the browser, browsers automatically collapse all white space including line returns. If you view the page source, you'll the the BB script places a break tag, <BR>, at the end of every line to create line breaks.

rockinbil - thanks for the useless info...it's not actually useless though, it reminded me about my HTML unit...maybe i'll do somthing creative to my website....hey i wonder if it's still there? i should do somthing with it so i don't forget junk like that.
That reminds me on another thing, if anybody needs to learn HTML/CCS/C++ or any other coding...just go to a bookstore like barns & noble...they have sections devoted to the stuff...it's CRAZY!!!!!

Books are good, but for programming anything you want to learn in any language is already documented on the 'net for free, down to working examples and compilers. It just depends on whether you want to work hard enough to find it or it's easier to drop a couple 20's for hardcopy info. Actually I like the web/download method better, you can copy and paste and modify to learn principles - with a book, you have to re-type it all in . . .

what's with you and useless info!! jokin'... i agree, that's what i did in my computers class. I learned way faster on the net, i was getting way ahead of everyone else just cause i was surfin the web when the teacher said make a page, i made it, and started researchin while everyone else and their sister was trying to figure out how to make bold type .
