Sorry I didn't make it, I sold my truck this morning. How often do you run them there. I would still like to get up and see them sometime.

Testing next Saturday all day, racing next Sunday. Both will be at the same site, so my directions are still good. Even though it rained today, there was some fantastic racing. Needless to say, I shot a full roll of film. If they turned out fairly decent, either I will post them later in the week or email them to someone and let them post them. DID YOU SEE THIS bUFFEROO, I GOT PICS TO SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will keep it in mind, I still need to find another vehicle. Do you have a full race and practice schedule? Where else do they run? The guy who bought my truck lived in Sedro Wooley but he came down to Bellevue to meet me later in the day. The timing just didnt work out. Looking forward to the photos though.

That is a cool website!!! That group does a lot of traveling all over the state. Any prize money involved?? I know you have many boats in various stages of construction but do you race any or are you an active fan??

No prize money is awarded, but trophies and plaques are. No boats to race with YET, but I do help out some of the other guys in quick repairs, spotting and such. Did you go into the boat section at all? There are many boats that are just totally breathtaking, both on the stand and on the water.

Oh yeah, I looked at them all. The workmanship and details are incredible. I admire that because I dont have the time or space for it. When i was a kid I loved to build models and when my kids get older I can see myself going back into (more adult oriented) models, like hydros. I love my miss bud, but I one day would like to build one from scratch.

I can just about guarrantee a couple of Buds will be there on Sunday. I'm willing to bet Harry Gatjens will have his 1994 T-3 there It's also a good possiblity the father and son team of Gary and Geoffry Grembowski will show up with their 1982 Bud Light and 1986 T-1 Then there's club President Don Mock and his 1984 Turbine Atlas Van Lines. Another great looking boat. Come on up and check them out. You might even get lucky and have David Newton show up with his 2002 T-6 Who knows, you might have to get to work on one for yourself.

OK, I'm looking at Sunday most likely as the day I show up. How early does every one start? How late do they stay? I will most likely have the wife and/or kids. Im not to concerned with seeing Miss Buds, but rather a nice collection of all kinds of hydros. Are they all 1/8 scale? What about the old shovel nose types, will they be there? I will let you know as the week goes on.

They usually have the drivers meeting around 10:00. After that, depending on how many boats show up, will continue nonstop(except while retrieving dead boats) till between 4:00 and 6:00. All era's of boats are usually represented, so be ready for a good show. The club races all 1/8th scale boats, though last race at this site had three 1/10th scale electrics show up and run a couple of heats while the next flight draw was going on. No guarrantee on electrics this time, they are racing down south on Saturday. To find out where check out www.e-rcu.org. IF you make it up on Sunday and want to find me, look for the one holding the camera and UW umbrella(if it's raining). Hope to see you there
