Driving with a boot or cast on?

Does anyone know if it's legal to drive with a boot or cast on your right foot? (In georgia) Reason I ask is b/c I got in a wreck recently and the kid who hit me had a boot on his right foot. He didn't even bother to hit the brakes, and I was hoping this would be useful in court.

Thanks,

Im not sure but i would have thought that if he has sumthin that impairs his driving he should not be behind the wheel of a vehicle?? or one that has not been adapted anyway

Yeah, I'll call them tomm. I tried checking their website, but couldn't find anything relevant. I know a boot is not the same as a cast, but he probably still shouldn't have been driving with it. It was "my fault" according to the state law, but I'm hoping I won't lose my license due to the conditions. aka. him having a boot, it being dusk and him not having his lights on, coming over a hill/corner w/no visibility, and "most likely speeding". And my system got trashed, so he better not get away with it.

E-max, yup can tell you from when I was in Georgia and broke my foot. I was strictly prohibited from driving with a cast on my right foot. It is illegal (or at least I was told several times) because you cannot properly react and brake properly. However, definitely call up the DMV and find out.
