Hey, i want to make my evo sort a rally car. meaning i wanna be able to take it into the dirt and street.
No jumps really, just a flat dirt track.. I 'm gonna need a higher ground clearance, new tires, rims, and suspension? Links?

The C-hubs are what the front steering blocks are attatched to...its shaped like a "C" and attatches to the A-arm and also houses the steering blocks, the steering block is what allows the wheels to turn.

this is what the C-hub looks like...located only on the front wheels...the turnbuckles attatch to the top of it and the bottom is attatched to the A-arm.

You have to get rid of the nub on the side and thin the whole thing up and also cut a little out of the back of the arm so you can have a lot of movement

you could get a tc3 and a rally kit or extend the wheelbase, add longer shock shafts, get new wheels, tires, and a new body and it should work

Your Evo isvery easy to convert rally. I converted my SS easliy.
What you should get....
Rally tires.... HPI Rally Tires Soft
Shocks.... Evader ST Shocks
Then file down the suspention so that it can drop down

use those shocks front and rear and yes you need spring and oil, try a 30WT
here is a pic
All the parts circled you should file down also you have to file the back of the arm where the c-hub is against

Ok here is what you need to turn your Evo into a Nitro Rally....
Nitro MT Arms Front And Rear
NitroMT Shock Towers
Nitro MT Shocks
Super Nitro Rally Tires And rims
Super Nitro Rally body
MT Drive shafts
Nitro MT Turnbuckles
I Have turned my SS into a Nitro MT so i have most of these parts... I have found that the Nitro 3 Rally converted works but it is kinda tipy, turning it in to a Nitro Rally will make it wider. All those parts will cost about 70bucks but then you will have a good rally car and also have a Super Rally car aswell. If i get Rally tires and body i will have a Super Rally Nitro MT and a SS
