STUPID race director

The RD at one of the local tracks won't let truggy's run on the track with anything but the 1/8 buggies. I couldn't see where the problem was, none of the racer's minded and the one revo running didn't give anything up as far as top speed, he was actually faster on the back straight, was running a new os .18

Don't think I'll ever be going back to that track...... just cause I lapped the field four times they don't wanna let me play!

From the small track that i Race at I can see the buggies being faster cause they can turn just a little better and they don't have the big tires to deal with.
Komodos will make that better but this things size kinda works against it I think.
Still the Best Racer in my mind though for the monster class.
1/8 scale buggies are not anywhere close to a truggy class in my mind.

It actually does better against the buggies, I didn't race against them at the track that banned my truggy, but at the other local track I play on, which is really rough in sections, it just floats right on through where the buggies have to slow down or flip. I normally run better lap times with my LSP on that track.

Hi guys, I know this question most have been answered or asked a lot, but I really didn't want to read 60 pages. I ordered LSP from my hobby shop. I was wondering he said it would be a while before it would come in. Is there anything thing I should put on it besides an engine any hop ups that it really needs or parts that I should change. Appreciate any help.

MB's is a pretty small list of things to do to make it race-worthy! You ARE buying a good truck, but no truck is perfect for everyone right out of the box. You can race it stock, MB's just suggesting some things he's found to be helpful. Wheels, tires, and diff oil will probably need to be changed to suit your track and driving style no matter what vehicle you buy. That's a given.

I should say that I ran the truck completely stock for about a gallon.
Only added the chassis braces in that amount of time.
Changed the engine over to the Mach but I am having problems with the clutch but that is fixable with Mugen shoes and .9 springs just lazy and have not raced in a month.
Has anybody tried the Aluminum Mugen shoes???????
I have been told they are awesome!

I've got the Mugen aluminum shoes on my LST, SUT, and I think one other vehicle (can't remember which, though). Yeah, they're great! I've got 1.1 springs on the LST (that's all I had at the time) and 1.0 on the SUT, both work great.

Would like to get a closer look.
I was just not pleased with the SUT.

THe LSP here is just a little better!

Lsp

Looking for a pro?
I have one for sale, Mach 26 and a few other upgrades.
Not sure what to ask for it.
