Yeah, not a bad deal -- I just ordered some stuff from them yesterday -- a couple of new diff sets and input gears for my 18T.

well i recently blew my motor up and before the new one gets in i want to know a few things first off comparing a 6cell 1100mah micro pack to a 6cell 1500mah sub-c pack, wat would be the diffrence in powere output? would the sub-c pack blow all my motors and does 7 cell micro pack produce more amps/ power than a sub-c 6 cell pack? then i had a problem with my stock micro pack it wouldnt accelerate as fast as it use to but could that be because it had really small wire and the esc drew more amps than stock and would changing the stock pack wires to some thicker awg wire help? thanx for all the help appreciate it alot

I tore out my rear arm mount the other day and then this weekend I tore out my RPM front bumper. Does anyone have your stockers lying around you would want to sell?
Thanks

No prob I thought it was a good deal and wanted to let everyone know before it's to late

If you have an older rpm bumper that the pins pulled out of I noticed on the new one I got a couple of weeks ago that it's redesigned around the pin area and looks alot stronger so it should hold up better.

I getting everything setup for on road here and was wondering if anyone had any advice on suspension setup. I was thinking about 15wt oil and silver springs to take the bounce out of the truck... Any advice? I have FT shocks and am running trinity off-road tires http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXHUG7&P=ML
3s 2100mah lipo
8000kV mamba
10/60 gearing

I'm also figuring out how to put a front spoiler on the truck to keep it on the ground. I don't want to get a front aluminum shock tower, since they NEVER flex, but the ones I've seen have mounts that would allow a spoiler. Anyone try it yet?

I just picked up a Mamba Performance package (5400) for my RC18T. I will be using an Intellect 1200 battery and a 2S Lipo with it. I am running Proline Dirt Hawgs and also a set of TC4 sedan wheels. What is good range of pinions and spur gears to get? What are some of you guys running?

Thanks.

You want to run a thicker oil in the shocks on road try the blue springs and 45-50wt oil to help keep the front end down flip the rear arms to extend the wheelbase about 5/16" it helps a lot.

Q if your setting it up for on road why are you running MT tires? the trinity on road tires would be better and there the same size.

I don't see how you would get the reversed arms, shocks, draglinks, etc to all jive?

It's no problem install 2 long ball studs in the lower shock tower holes pull the inner pins on the arms and swap sides it tuck me about 15 min to do and it adds about 5/16" to the wheelbase.

2 reasons actually, the trinity MT tires handle quite well on asphalt, and I have them already

Are those front buggy shocks you're running? If so, was the 45-50wt a recommendation for them? Sounds a bit heavy...

Thats cool I like the trinity tires my next purchase is the MT tire I have the street tires.

I'm running the losi pro mini-t shocks right now I have the FT shocks also and the last on road set up I tried with them was 50 in the front and 45 in the rear and it worked perty good on the street smoked my nabors TC3 you want to slow down the suspension movement for on road to help with body roll and wheel hop lighter oil and heavier wt springs will only make the bouncing worse. You should also set the ride hight to where the arm's are level front and rear for better on road handling.

I use the same system in my rc18t. I keep it geared 10/60 and only run it with 3s lipo. Great performance.

I got about 15 minutes of run time in today. My lil truck is being less than reliable lately. First the battery way cutting out, but some loops of electric tape wrapped tightly lengthwise seems to have solved that. So I took off for the construction site across the street. It had a big sand pile, maybe 6 feet tall.

Trying to get up the sand was a challenge, it was very soft and the truck wanted to just bury the wheels and get stuck. If I could keep the speed up, it would go pretty well. But the sand was very fine and soon I had wicked gear noise. Then the truck stopped completely, making a whining noise.

I suspected the pinion was slipping on the motor. Took it home and the spur is chewed up and it feels like there is sand in the motor as its a bit notchy. Grrrrr. Hopefully the motor is okay.

This big Feiago motor is still getting quite hot. I was hoping it would run cool being as large as it is, but I guess these trucks are harder to push than I imagine. My truck is pretty high mileage, so the drivetrain isn't exactly smooth, but still....

All in all it was fun, but I'm still looking for somewhere better to run it. Something with gravel and jumps would be nice.

fine sand and rc18t don't mix well unless you get the somewhat expensive lexan spur gear cover
