what charger to get??? $125 range
Im looking to get a charger something to replace a Pihranna Digital charger. Let me just say first its a great charger and i have no problems using it but am looking for something that will cycle a battery or atleast discharge it at a decent rate. Any info would be helpfull and if possible id like it to be AC/DC powered

have you perhaps looked at one of Duratrax's Intellipeak chargers? With your $125 budget I think the Intellipeak AC/DC Digital Pulse charger would do you just fine..... http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUF46&P=0
it has all kinds of features such as adjustable peak detection voltage, seperate DC power supply so you dont have to deal with the heat generated by the power supply. I has adjustable charger current from .5-6.5 amps for both NiMH and NiCD, 2 or 10 amp discharge rates, plus it has two different cycle functions..1)Select a single charge discharge cycle for periodic pack conditioning or 2)continuous auto-repeat for reviving pack that might have developed a memory or for just simply breaking in a new pack. Hope that helps some

Get the new Duratrax ICE charger, I just got one and I love it. It is $130 but is DC only. 0.1 - 8.0 amps, 1-10 cells, Ni-cd, Ni-mh, Li-poly, Li-ion, discharger and cycler.

Yes, you can use a computer power supply. You should be able to get a brand new ATX 400 watt power supply for less than $35. Just make sure it puts out more than 15 amps on the 12volt circuit. And make sure you put a small load on the 5volt circuit, such as an automotive lightbulb, to make sure you get the maximum voltage output.
