Newbie Q's (hammer ep)

been lurking for awhile and just bought an electric hammer...I notice the manual seems to lacking in a few areas. It came with a yellow flag (guessing this is for the transmitter? adjusting the radio trim, set the thottle trim till it sets quietly motor off? Trim tabs are not mentioned anywhere except on the box(to say it has them), lets see if the boat bounces the bow then they need a smidge down? TIA

The frequency flags usually get tossed, I rarely see them at races and that's where they're really supposed to be used. You're right on the throttle trim and adjust the rudder so that the boat goes straight.
try the trim tabs at the factory setting then if it seems like the boat is running too wet, move them up just a little at a time. A little goes a long way. Just the opposite if it appears to be running too light on the water. It's another thing to mess with.

ok thanks much. I can see the wisdom of hang tags(freq board) at a busy meet...just not sure bout that freq flag (colour, etc.). all I have to do now is find some water... mayhap the local golf course might let me 'use' their water hazard.
