I own a Zig-Zag Racer but the Reef Racer looks more appealing to me. An enclosed radio box and motor bay plus a 12 volt charger helps to recharge at the lake. With the ZZR I have to take it home to recharge plus the charger is slower than the 12 volt that comes with the RR.

I do not own either one but if you check www.rcuniverse.com you will find a review of the Zig Zag Racer 2.

I like them both but for different reasons. The Reef Racer is more like larger R/C boats because the enclosed electronics box and the water cooling for the motor. But the Zig Zag you can do more like water polo and have a race course set up easily with the included equipment. Also I heard the Zig Zag makes a good retrevial boat with the front fork/water polo catch device to push stalled gas boats in to shore.
