New at this ......................
I just got a Mugen F103 GT, need to assemble it. I want to buy tires that are already mounted and trued to tc wheels. I'll use this car to play around with outdoors, not race it. I think I want rubber, since I think foams will get pretty torn up easily. Can I buy any 26mm tc wheel/tires from any company? Do these have a standard hub or do I have to use a certain brand. Will the GMP at Tower fit? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

The F103GT uses standard 12mm hex, so pretty much all the touring car tires / wheel will work...

A friend of mine just got one, but I had school last night and couldn't make it to the parking lot in time. So I was just reading up on it...man this thing sounds nutz!!!
I may have to pick one up for myself. Been awhile since I race a 2wd car, not to mention this thing can run sedan bodies.....I might have to do a costume party at the next local race and see what they say when I go up against the 4wd bad boys...I know I can take um in the straights...
AAAUUUUURIGHTTTTTT!!!!!

Ha, get one, and keep us posted!!
In a stock or 19T race, you will probably surprise the 4WD boys..
In high power application, though, I think the 4WD will run away from you.. but maybe you can drive it better..

Yeah!!!
I totally agree, in those situations the 4wd will be very agressive. I think that I may end up getting one anyway to go a little parking lot action!!!
I think I'll go check out my local HBS and see if its there..if not off to Towerhobbies..

I'll bet you could sell her and get a F103GT and some extra cash for da hop ups...
Let us know....YOU MUST GET ONE. I was driving my friends one all over the parking lot yesterday. I used up his battery pack and was going up against some 4wd TC4's and HPI Pro 4's....

Wow!!!!
I actually finished her in a couple of hours. The kids went to bed early and I was on the kit in no time. Low and behold.....my F103GT w/foams. Took me awhile to realize that the GT kit doesn't come with the foam bumper and I thought that it was missing in the kit. Until I found the page with the setup for the courage Mugen..
Instead of a 15T, I decided to add a 20T HPI motor that I had running in my TLT-1. I was saving this bad boy for my HPI Wheely King, but I was spinning out like crazy tonight. Kinda late to be outside right now, but first thing tomorrow afternoon I'll hit the parking lot.

Well got to run her and I kicked some major butt out in the parking lot. Took on some 4wd TC4's and HPI Pro 4's. But I rather run the foams than the rubber. In the sweepers I was taking some major spin outs...but in the shikanes and in the straights...I took um on BIG TIME!!!!!!

Just got my 3R rear body mounts. This of course moves the rear body posts in line with the TB-02 bodies. Just need to install and she will have my old Nissan Skyline body......
