LST2 VS DF Giga C

Well, the title sais it, these are the two trucks i am tossing up between. Please be nhonest, and i would like those people who own these trucks to tell me whaty they think of them. Which one should i purchase? I am looking for a racer out of the two, more than a basher.

I have the LST2, all around great truck and tuff as nails. As far as racing it's a big truck and you can run over the competition. lol The only downfall I've notice would be the lack of rims to choose from. As far as the other truck, never heard of it. I would stay away from something you can't get parts at your lhs. I have 3 lhs within 8 miles from my house and I never seen anything about a giga.

Are you joking? The LST is a raceable, fast, durable, great-handling, and really upgradeable machine. The DF Giga Crusher is just Kyosho showing the world that it can build and market an oversized, practically useless dual-engined behemoth (SP). It isn't even fast, and I have heard it has trouble pulling wheelies due to its massive heft. What fun is that? LST all the way.

Lol, ok. Hmm, i wonder who's against Kyosho. Lol. Yeh, i gigured as much anyway. Ive been browsing the net for vids on them both, it lok like all the Giga DF is good for driving up steep hills and surviving the fall on the other side. Lol. The LST2 seems preety tough, and FAST, Heh ehe. I like speed, but, if you dont like speed, what kinda person are you? Awesome, keept eh opinions comming, thanks so far!

Kyosho's Gigacrusher was marketed in mostly European countries that is the reason why you can't get any parts for it in the US (scarce). LST series is most popular in the US but in my place it's the other way around. The most popular here is Tamiya, HPI, Associated Electric (thunder tiger) and Kyosho for buggies.

Yeh, we got a fair bit of tamiya around here, but no offence to anybody who owns one, but i personally hate them. But, yeh, kyosho i belive make some of the best stuff out there. Its interesting to hear all these comments, it seems that Losi really is the better truck.

I didn't mean to sound anti-Kyosho. I really like their touring cars and their 1/8 buggies, but that's about it.

I am considering buying a new monster truck myself. I am leaning towards the Giga Crusher DF since I will not be racing it. It is built like a tank, with a 3 speed transmission, and is geared low for some rock climbing. That is prefect for bashing. Here is a link to a review of the GC DF by a reputable magazine, Giga Crusher Review. The Giga does cost a penny more though.

I saw the DF giga crushers at RCX last year when they first came out....they flew over jumps like a floating butterfly..true its a massive truck but believe it or not...because of the weight distribution...it not only jumps well but with the right steering servo it corners too. Sure, this is not a truck you want to race...but as a basher it will last over a LST anyday...AND...true its not a fast truck in the long run...but off the line it kicks booty.... (ya, I am pro kyosho.. )
