Its race-truck heritage gives it superior off-road capability. If you want to get serious at the dirt track, a simple tire change and Jato’s TRX 3.3 Racing Engine belts out more muscle than most tracks can even hold.

I plan to use that much speed, cant wait to get my hands on one, hell i want both of them. Even if they are just for bashing. Speed is king if your in a parking lot.

I agree, I want one. I don't know if I would ever use the extra speed but it's nice to have just in case . My buddy loves to race his fast. That's all he cares about and he's gonna love this. I think I will too. I may be in the minority but I have had very little trouble out of the 4 traxxas motors I have.

DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB!
Most likely the poor people who will buy these are brand new and are enticed by the speed numbers they are putting down ( which I assure they will NEVER hit, The jato will flip over at 60 MPH because the front underwing acts like a reverse spoiler, and the 4-tec will be out of radio range because they geared it to get you to the moon in 8 minutes.)Most likely the people will get these cars and more than likely NOT break them in and crash them into a wall/curb/solid blunt object at way slower than the advertised speeds. So I say, pass on both of them. The only things the 3.3. should be in is the revo and t-maxx, and it should stay that way cause they weigh tof those trucks at least somewhat tames the power of that motor.

In the RCCA article covering the new TMaxx and Revo 3.3 they gave a huge wink-wink at the 4Tec and Jato 3.3, so it doesn't come as a surprise, but it is welcome. Traxxas really prides itself with high-speed vehicles, and here we are. As for people wrecking the 3.3 4Tec, there was this one kid and father who got a new Pro-.15 4Tec about 4 years ago (new at the time). They didn't bother breaking it in, and crashed it into a wall and came back asking about the warranty. Go figure, same ol', same ol'.

Actually, the 4-Tec is a little over 8 years old.

They should come pre-installed with fail safe. Before you know it, they are already out of range on those RTR radios.

Power to the peoples indeed! The N4tec may have a tall gaering, but it can be as tall as those racing sedans. The 2.5 makes nearly as much HP as the OS .12TZ and plenty rpm...bout 36-37k. It smashes the 60mph barrier very easily and doesn't take a lot of room to do it. They do need to change the trx radio. They should completely change up the design of the N4tec.
