Hi. Which colors do you use to paint skulls?

im guessing a creamy/plain white, with a hint of black for shading and black for any cracks in the skull??

but shadowing looks like thet were painted using brown or something like that?
What's full name of that color?

Usually shadowing is just a darker version of the color it is over. For example, if you are putting a shadow on a red background, the shadow would be a darker shade of the red. You can get into a lot of trouble using black for shadowing.

When doing shadows, if I'm not using a darker shade of the base color then I use SpazStix window tint. I love the stuff, it is very thin and I can spray it at 10 psi with my Iwata airbrush. Being able to use such a low pressure allows you to spray a very small amount of paint.
