Question about XXX MAIN

Okay, I got in my new T4 clear body today and my son and I are going to attempt our first body. He is only 6 and loves Pokemon so we have decided to make a Pokemon themed body for our r/c truck.

I bought some of this XXX Main Picture Glue that is supposed to help glue magazine pictures inside the clear body. Then just paint over it.

My question is, I dont really have a Pokemon magainze, but have found a buch of pokemon pictures online. Could I print them out on regular white printer paper and cut them out and use as if they came from a magazine?

I've done similar but not with XXX main glue. It works fairly well. The magazine pictures are brighter, but the printed ones don't look too bad.

In the side shot, the images are from a magazine.

In the top shot, the one on the roof is printed and I think the one on the hood is from a magazine.

I would agree; this stuff works really well. The only thing I could think of is that with printed pictures, the ink could possibly run when the glue or paint is applied. Maybe if you used some type of photo paper that doesn’t let ink run, it may work better. I used pictures from a magazine, and it worked great. Really cool stuff, and what a great idea! Once you paint it, it seals it up pretty well, so it does wear fairly well too. Now you must post pics if you get this done! Good luck!
