Nice...but I would be use caution buying vintage RC that is shrinkwrapped, especially Tamiya. If I remember correctly, Tamiya kits from the 80's were never shrinkwrapped from the factory. Some hobby shops did shrinkwrap the kits, but Tamiya factory never did.
As you might know, it is very easy to buy a shrinkwrap machine these days. I have heared horror stories of vintage "shrinkwrapped" kits that contained junk inside.

I am not particularly sure about your comment regarding my kit to be honest. I would have to get a collector to verify the non-shrink wrapped kits comment. Everything I ever remember seeing was shrink wrapped and I have been doing this for 20+ years now. I could be wrong.
If I give the box a shake, it sure sounds like plastic and parts and I bought from a very reputable seller. I feel confident.

I verified on Tamiya Club, it looks like these did come shrink wrapped. So, I am not willing to sacrifice an extra $50+ of the kit's value to pop the wrap off and find out. It might be some old GoBots and Fisher Price toys in there, but I am not going to be the one to find out.

yah...maybe I am wrong
I just don't remember seeing shrinkwrapped Tamiya kits back in the 80's. But my memory is not the best.
