I didn't anodize the chassis pink because I have limited time and we'll be using a 3.3 chassis in the future. Plus there will be more changes to everything so when it gets more finalized we can start doing little custom stuff like that.
The shock socks are on ebay and tower.

Eh, not looking to upgrade just yet. I've spent a lot of cash on R/Cs lately and I still gotta buy some other stuff that is higher priority Plus the Jeep needs some attention!

I've been doing the detail work and getting the odds and ends together. I'll have more pics soon. I'm in the USAF and we're in the middle of 12 hour days, including weekends, for the next week or so. That means very little time to work on it But I showed her today what her surprise was. She was definitely is happy with it so far and loved the body. She's so excited to run it

I would try and do somewhin with the chassis though, since annnodizing is electrically insulating it would may have given that extra bit of safety.
Just remember, when you go to the 3.3 chassis (if you can be bothered that is :P ) annodizing is your friend.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I would *like* to anodize it pink. I'd also like to ano my chassis green, but time will tell. I've been running my chassis and my electronics work flawlessly. It's been de-ano for over 2 years. All kinds of brushless and brushed trucks run plain aluminum chassis and they don't have problems, I don't see how I should get any.

Nice, how much that set you back?
Also, how do you annodize your chassis? you do it yourself using sulphuric acid or get someone to do it for you?

I've never anodized anything, only heard about it. I'd probably send all my stuff in anyways, too much of a mess and hassle for me, not to mention I don't have the time. And I'd rather not say how much I bought the setup for. If someone looks hard enough they could find out, but since it's on another forum, I doubt it will come up

Thanks nitro. I like this 07 Silverado body. Nice detail, good size, very nice shape and feel. I'll probably pick up one for me. I'll be convert my Revo soon. I'll still have nitro but probably only in the summer. Or I'll just pick up another rolling chassis and go from there.
Thanks Demon. I came up with it when I tried to figure out how to get an even layer. Came out awesome!
Froless - It's an exciting build. It's fun to hack up two trucks to make one and have the rest of the parts for a crawler. Look for my other build in the Rock Crawling section soon. It's gonna be a 1:6 version of my 1:1 ride.
